Lodging
There are no rooms available on Fort McNair.
Active, reserve and retired military as well as US government employee can reserve billets at one of the many military bases in the DC area, several of which are close to Fort McNair.

Direction

Ample free parking is available next to the conference location, Marshall Hall.

Registration/Fees & Check-in
The Connections 2012 registration fee is $40 cash, collected at check in.
Meals/Snacks
The registration fee covers the ice breaker, dinner on Wednesday, and light snacks each day. Lunch breaks will be brief, so participants will need to either bring their lunch or buy lunch at the venue.
Dress
The dress for Connections will be business casual (slacks/khakis and polo shirt) or uniform of the day.
Clearances
The conference is unclassified hence no clearances are required.
Base Access
Participants will need a photo ID to access Fort McNair. In addition, vehicles without Department of Defense decals must use the Second Street entrance.

Electronic Devices
There is no restriction on bringing any electronic device. Please note, NDU does not have wireless internet service and will not host an internet cafe during Connections.

Weather Emergency
While weather emergencies are very unusual for DC in July, if one does occur NDU will match the guidance provided by the Office of Personnel Management for government operations in the DC area. Many individuals stationed in DC for three or more years do not manage to see all that is with seeing all that is with seeing. Still, if you can make some time while in town for Connections to see Washington click here for ideas and information.
