Renee G. Carlucci, a key leader of the US military OR community

Ms. Renee G. Carlucci is a Senior Operations Research Analyst and Deputy Chief of the Force Strategy Division for the United States Army’s Center for Army Analysis.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Towson University, a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research from Johns Hopkins University.  She is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the Army Management Staff College and has over twenty years experience in military operational studies.  She has worked on numerous projects for Headquarters, Department of the Army and Combined Forces Command in the areas of Force Management, Theater Missile Defense, Military Logistics, and Campaign and Theater-Level Analyses.  Her previous assignments include: Deputy Chief, J5 Assessments Division, US Forces – Iraq; Chief, Operational Capability Assessments-Northeast Asia Division; Strategic Partner, Army War Plans; and Chief, Joint & External Analysis Branch, Marine Corps Combat Development Command.  In her personal capacity, Ms. Carlucci is currently serving on the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) Board of Directors and has chaired the MORS Communities of Practices for five CoPs on Deterrence, Wargaming, Irregular Warfare, Social Sciences and Experimentation.  She is currently the Chair for MORS Membership Committee and was a Chief Wargame Director for the 79th MORS Symposium at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
