Dan Novak, former Chief of Wargaming, Air Command and Staff College
Mr. Dan Novak entered the Air Force via Reserve Officer Training Corps in
December 1976. During his career he served as a program manager for
conventional and nuclear weapons acquisition and modernization, program
manager for operational level operations research and systems analysis and
as the chief of wargaming and course director at the Air Command and Staff
College. He is a command pilot with over 3,500 hours in the B-52G, UH1-N,
T-39, T-37 and T-38. He retired from the Air Force in the grade of lieutenant colonel and is currently serving in the civil service as a senior military wargaming analyst.
