The following organizations are both for profit and not for profit, both organizations that only deal with wargames and those for which wargaming is a modest portion of their business. We have divided these organizations into those who’s wargame related work is principally for the military and/or other government agencies (Contractors), those who’s wargame related work is principally for the consumer marker (Publishers+) and those organized by wargame participants (Clubs). If an organization services both governemnt and consumer markets it is listed under both headings.
Contractors
Contractors may be for profit, non profit or even federally funded research organizations that have a semi-official status. In some cases wargaming make up a very small percentage of their overall business. In some cases a company no longer develops wargames but is still listed for historical reasons.
